Folic Acid Key To Cancer Prevention (9/98) Women who take multivitamins for at least 15 years may cut their risk of colon cancer by 75%, a study out today says. The key ingredient probably is folic acid, the study says. That's the same vitamin women are urged to take to prevent birth defects in their babies. The study is in the Annals of Internal Medicine. | ||||||
